With more than four decades in the professional beauty industry, Maria Enna-Cocciolone is widely recognised as one of the leading innovators in advanced skincare.
Maria began her career as a beauty therapist in the 1980s, where she developed a deep understanding of skin function and the science behind real results. Over time, she saw a gap between traditional cosmetic skincare and formulations that could truly improve skin health.
Her answer was O COSMEDICS, a brand that helped pioneer the concept of cosmedical skincare; professional formulations powered by active ingredients designed to create genuine, visible change in the skin.
Rather than focusing on trends or quick fixes, Maria built the brand around education, skin health, and long-term results. It’s why O COSMEDICS has become a trusted range within professional skin clinics around the world.

Years later, Maria created GINGER&ME, a brand inspired by a deeply personal chapter in her life. While supporting her father through his dementia journey, she experienced firsthand how powerful small moments of care and connection can be.
From this experience came a new idea for skincare. One that supports not just the skin, but the mind, body, and heart.

While Maria brought decades of skin science and clinical expertise, GINGER&ME was also shaped alongside Nicola Quinn, the brand’s co-creator and global brand director.
Nicola has spent many years working within the professional skincare and spa industry, helping develop brands, education programmes, and client experiences that strengthen the connection between clinics and their clients.
Together, Maria and Nicola created GINGER&ME with a shared vision: skincare that combines advanced science with meaningful self-care.
